THREE WOMEN VS THE GALAXY II

Jenny is the big sister, two years older than Lucky but Lucky is just as substantial. The thing that binds them is not only their love for music but the fact that they love being cops. To say that Gunz is the beauty and brawn is to not get it exactly right. To say that Lucky is a brainiac and something of a nerd is also not quite right.

There are levels to this. One is white. One is black. As undercover cops they found themselves bonding not only over music but also over the easy way they meshed, the serendipity of happy accidents that filled the need for each single child to find the sister she needed and cherished in the other.

And in doing cop work, which brought into their lives adventure and a sense of civic service, their "opposites-attract" chemistry grew and grew as they went through adventure after adventure and living those lives they each found thrilling.

Both are beautiful but they wear their beauty in different ways. Gunz is fully aware of her knockout status but she never exploits it. It is what it is. However, she does go through life expecting things. She has that "blonde ambition" that though she doesn't flaunt or fling this beauty about, she is incredibly aware that it is there. White Venus.

Samantha Plantagenet is beautiful, equally so but in the mix of Pam Grier + Angela Davis covered by the Coke-bottles she wears and needs and a sense that she is fine in her own person just as she his. A computer whiz from UCLA, Lucky is just fine in her own skin. She knows her worth and has no need to present herself other than she is. When a LASD instructor smirked that "people might have trouble pronouncing her name, she shot back "They'll learn it." Drop the mic. Black Athena.

Samantha Plantagenet: Music Is My Middle Name. This is on her business card. And it could have read: Music is Like Breathing. No TV. Computers everywhere, books everywhere. Crates of vinyl line her her floors. Her hard drives are filled with Lossless files ranging from African chants to hard core hip hop to EDM of all types to Monteverdi, Rachmaninoff and Bach (her big three).

She got a chance to meet RZA, the Abbot himself, and he signed her copy of Bobby Digital and encouraged her to never stop producing. Weirdo, nerd, scold in the Athena body, Lucky (she got the name because she was so smart that, well, she must have been "lucky") moves with confidence that those whom she most wanted to impress such as her fiance Dr. Mark Hodge, her fellow operatives at the LASD (The Los Angeles Sheriff Department) and especially Gunz someone who took her in, befriended her, and became her life-long sister from another mother. They accepted her as she was and she loved them for it.
