Rachel Lloyd! Some of you remember that monumental album Simplicity 2000 which set the high bar for easy swinging downtempo. She was one of the glorious voices that graced Steven Miller's sublime concoction. It was the era of Portishead, Thievery Corporation and the sublime embrace of Balearic chillout beats. It was the age of Hed Kandi and sounds so cool they refreshed every head they filled. Rachel's singing on "Breather" gives you a hint of what Gunz and Lucky liked to cover:

  Terra Firma! Finally! I know, I know. They say "genius matures late," at least that is what Shelby Foote said when talking about Abraham Lincoln. I hope it carries over into dreamers like me.
